About the Role 

Are you a detail-oriented and proactive HR professional with a passion for supporting people and processes? SpendLab is looking for a dedicated HR Support team member to join our international People & Culture department. In this role, you will provide essential operational support across a variety of HR tasks and play a key part in ensuring a smooth and positive employee experience throughout the organization. You’ll work closely with our HR team to manage day-to-day HR administration and contribute to initiatives that shape our company culture and people processes. 

Responsibilities 

  • Maintain and update employee records in our HR system with accuracy and consistency. 

  • Support the onboarding process by preparing documentation and coordinating SpendLab Onboarding Days. 

  • Handle employee documentation such as contracts, absence reports, and other HR files. 

  • Support payroll activities. 

  • Draft and distribute internal communications (e.g., announcements, event info) and engagement surveys in coordination with the P&C team. 

  • Help organize internal events and employee initiatives including Town Halls, celebrations, and engagement activities. 

  • Prepare, revise, and manage HR templates, checklists, and reports, such as job descriptions and onboarding materials. 

  • Support the payroll process by compiling and submitting relevant employee mutations and updates.

What We’re Looking For 

  • A background in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 

  • Prior experience in HR support or administrative roles is preferred. 

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Able to work independently in both remote and in-office settings with a high degree of responsibility. 

  • Comfortable working with confidential information. 

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
